New Zealand issues, news, reflections, and controversies - Anglican and otherwise


The Anglican Church in this land is in its third decade of attempting to be as inclusive as possible in its services. It is struggling, as are other Anglican provinces, with biblical understanding and hermeneutics. How surprising then to open our diocesan synod papers and find a motion from General Synod to officially authorise a version of the Bible that appears to run counter to both these intentions.
